One Vanderbilt, located in Midtown Manhattan, rises 1,401 feet in the air, terminating in the sky with an iconic spire that is quickly becoming a hallmark of the New York City skyline. The tower is the second tallest office tower in New York City and also includes The Summit, a unique blend of art, technology and thrill that has taken the concept of the “observation deck” to the next level. Topped out 5 months ahead of schedule, One Vanderbilt included 27,000 tons of structural steel and is a testament to Banker Steel and NYC Constructor's ability to complete a quality build ahead of schedule.
The project received the 2021 IDEAS2 Merit Award for Projects Greater than $200 Million from the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC).
