Banker Steel fabricated and NYC Constructors erected 17,000 tons of steel for the new Terminal 6 at JFK International Airport. Set on the north side, this state-of-the-art terminal is built on the sites of the former Terminal 6 and Terminal 7. Its unique design presents sloping columns at the departures curb from the ground to the single-plane roof, reaching for the sky and supported by tightly pretensioned cables. The improved Terminal 6 features 1.2 million square feet of terminal facilities.
